Overview

Radiography Testing is a highly effective and widely used non-destructive testing technique designed to detect internal discontinuities in materials through the use of X-ray and Gamma ray sources. The process involves directing high-energy radiation toward the material being inspected. This radiation penetrates the material and creates a detailed image on a photographic film, similar to the way medical X-rays are used to reveal bone fractures.

The captured image provides a visual representation of the internal structure of the material, highlighting any potential defects such as cracks, voids, or inclusions. Once the image is developed, a qualified inspector carefully analyzes and interprets the film to evaluate the quality, integrity, and reliability of the material. This method is particularly valuable in industries where structural soundness and safety are critical, as it provides accurate insights without causing any damage to the tested object. Radiography Testing ensures that materials meet the highest standards of performance and compliance.
